Stampin' Up! has put Back in Plaid past My Paper Pumpkin project on sale while supplies last. Although it's a project from last year, it's still a great project to use during the holiday season. The stockings are so much fun to use for all sorts of creations!
Last weekend was my Fifth Annual Ruthless Stamping "Craft Your Christmas Retreat" at the Doubletree Club by Hilton in Santa Ana.
I LOVE this retreat. I have so much fun preparing for it.
One of the things I love to do is prepare the tables for the group lunch and dinner that we have on Saturday. Mark (my husband) joins me in crafting something we hope will be lovely and will be an inspiration to all that sit at the table.
We also love to use lots of Stampin' Up! product.
This year we used the little stockings from this kit. We spray starched and ironed them and then put them through the Cable Knit Embossing Folder (#143537)! Then we used them to hold the silverware.
We repeated the ironing, starching, and embossing process, and then inserted a marble in the toe of the stocking, and tied it with the Basic Black Solid Baker's Twine (#141682) and used it as a hat for the snowman, that went on top of a small cup with a cute snowman face, that held candy! This was the favor for each person! SO FUN!
If you are a My Paper Pumpkin subscriber, you can order this past kit in my online store here. However, I can also order these kits for you!
Let me know if you would like me to do that.. just don't wait! Since they are from last year, we don't know when they will run out of stock!
If you are not a MPP subscriber, you can sign up for My Paper Pumpkin, and get this special kit as well as future ones.
There are so many great projects waiting in the wings.

Did you miss the Santa's Workshop?
We had a great time on Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, Black Friday! We met at the Doubletree Club by Hilton, in Costa Mesa, at 3 pm. We made lots Gift Card Holders, stocking stuffer gifts, and Bags and Wraps.
We also had a wonderful served meal that included a fabulous Chocolate Mousse Pie dessert! YUM!
Here's a few pictures of our day....
Pat and Linda are concentrating!
Chocolate Mousse Pie for dessert! YUM.
One of the many gift card holders we made. It is made with the Stampin' Up! Sketched Bags folded and stapled. When it is folded that way, it creates two pockets: one of rate card and the greeting, and one in the front of the gift card!
Here's a cute bag we made with a lunch bag, and the "Come Home for Christmas" Designer Series Paper. We used the new and wonderful Festive Flower Punch to make the poinsettia.. beautiful!
Come back tomorrow to see more of our projects!
