Retirement Lists

Although it may be a little confusing, the retirement lists are here.  Many of the Stamp sets are going to be transitioned from our previous wood mount and clear mount stamps, to the new "cling" mount stamps. Those stamps are listed as "retiring".  But that does not mean that the images themselves are going away.  They are just being made in the new "cling" style.

Stampin' Up! has redone the list for the retired stamp sets for the Annual catalog, and has indicated those that are continuing (with the new cling style) by giving those products a light gray line through them, and putting an asterisk by the name of the set.

DRUM ROLL PLEASE..

So many favorites of mine are going!

I urge you to take the time to look the lists over very carefully.  Every year, customers ask me throughout the year about products that Stampin' Up! retired. So.. please check it out carefully so you won't be disappointed later this year!
Here's a suggestion:  Print the list, and then go through your catalogs and mark what is going.  Then you'll see what you need to order! You can click on the graphic above for the complete pdf for the Annual catalog list.  The links below the graphic show the retiring lists for both the Annual catalog and the Occasions catalog in my online store.

(In the graphics list of stamp sets, the ones that are staying in cling style are NOT indicated)
(Remember that the stamp sets and the dies might continue in the catalog, but they will not be at the "bundled" price)

Stampin' Up! will continue to produce the retiring stamp sets through May 24th.  However, the accessories are only available on a "first come, first served" basis. Remember, accessories include any dies, embossing folders, ribbons, designer papers, embellishments, etc...anything starting on page 181 and beyond.   Once our supplies are depleted, they will no longer be available so get what you want now!

As always, the outgoing "In-colors" are the first to go.. so if you have In Color ink pads, protect your investment by purchasing extra card stock and ink refills today!

Remember, don't wait to get the things you really want, some things are already sold out and it's only the first day!

PS..Don't forget.. the outgoing In Colors will go very fast!

Now, let's talk about something else you might have noticed.
The Big Shot and the Stampin' Trimmer are being retired.
WHAT???  Yes, its true.  And WHAT??? was my immediate reaction.
Here's what's happening:  Stampin' Up! has decided to go to straight to the manufacturer, and bypass the supplier, for a die cut machine.  But all this is taking time, more time than they expected.  So, for now, there will not be a die cutting system in the new catalog.
There are new die cuts and new embossing folders in the new catalog, made with the new manufacturer! It's just taking a bit of time to work out all the bugs with the new machine.  So, please be patient.  Know that the die cuts and embossing folders you already have will work with the new system. We just need to be patient and know that something even better is coming!

Now, about the Stampin' Trimmer.  At the present time Stampin' Up! is working on a new trimmer, but it's not ready yet.  The blades for the current trimmer are on back order, and I will receive an email when they are back in stock.
Could you please shoot me an email and let me know you are interested in blades, so as soon as I receive the email, I'll send you a note and let you know they are "orderable" again. Thanks!

I hope you have received some answers to your questions!
Let me know if you have any other questions!
