Back in Plaid My Paper Pumpkin

Stampin' Up! has put Back in Plaid past My Paper Pumpkin project on sale while supplies last.  Although it's a project from last year, it's still a great project to use during the holiday season.  The stockings are so much fun to use for all sorts of creations!

Last weekend was my Fifth Annual Ruthless Stamping "Craft Your Christmas Retreat" at the Doubletree Club by Hilton in Santa Ana.

I LOVE this retreat.  I have so much fun preparing for it.

One of the things I love to do is prepare the tables for the group lunch and dinner that we have on Saturday.  Mark (my husband) joins me in crafting something we hope will be lovely and will be an inspiration to all that sit at the table.

We also love to use lots of Stampin' Up! product.

This year we used the little stockings from this kit.  We spray starched and ironed them and then put them through the Cable Knit Embossing Folder (#143537)!  Then we used them to hold the silverware.

We repeated the ironing, starching, and embossing process, and then inserted a marble in the toe of the stocking, and tied it with the Basic Black Solid Baker's Twine (#141682) and used it as a hat for the snowman, that went on top of a small cup with a cute snowman face,  that held candy!  This was the favor for each person!  SO FUN!
