"Best of Love" Card

IMG_4164a

This sweet and simple Valentine is a fave!  I love how this turned out.  Inspired by my friend Deb Valder, I used the smallest heart framelit in the "Hearts a Flutter" framelit set.  The whisper white card stock is cut 2" square. The DSP peeking through and around is from the "Fresh Prints Designer Series Paper Stack" in the Occasions Catalog~ one of the best values in the catalog at $6.95 for 48 sheets of 4 1/2" x 6 1/2" paper!

The Whisper White 2" square was embossed with the Polka Dots Embossing folder, mounted on the DSP (which was cut in a 2 1/4" square) with  dimensionals, and a little bow was tied through the heart using the Real Red 1/8" taffeta ribbon.  All of this was mounted on a piece of Vellum cardstock measuring 5 1/4" x 4".  I adhered that piece of Vellum with two dimensionals right behind the white square to a piece of Whisper white cardstock  that measures 4 1/4" x 11", folded in half to make the card.  Just under the Vellum, on the cardstock down at the bottom, I stamped "love" in Real Red ink, using an image from the "Best of Love" stamp set.  Do you LOVE it?

This is one of the cards we will be making at my Valentine's Card Buffet. More info about that coming up!
