Founder's Circle Memories
October 15, 2009
I have been gone for a while, and I apologize! It had been busy here with classes, clubs, and wedding plans! The wedding is this Saturday, and we will be having the rehearsal dinner here in our patio on Friday night, so there is lots to do! But I have been hoping for days to get back to blogging, so here I am!
You might remember that I attended the fabulous Founder's Circle trip in September! I wanted to share some memories from that trip with you.
I arrived at the Las Vegas airport and was taken the 2 hours to St George Utah where Stampin' Up! takes over the Marriott Courtyard hotel there. This sign was outside the hotel to greet us.
We went inside for a late lunch and then on to the Gathering Place where we played a
fun get acquainted game. We were each given this darling butterfly net filled with 5 butterflies, all the same color. We were to go around and collect five different colored butterflies from other demonstrators. When we had them we returned to the welcome table and received a brand new stamp set.. one that will be in the upcoming Occasions mini catalog! Yippee! So sorry... I can't show it to you! But you will love it when you see it!
After the game we went to our rooms to get unpacked and ready for the welcome dinner. And LOOK what greeted me when I got the door of my room!
MY NAME! ON THE DOOR! How fun is that?
After unpacking, I went downstairs for dinner! What fun!
Our "charger" was a saucer for a flower pot, and we had a lovely butterfly napkin ring, and a sweet welcome note from Shelli! We enjoyed a great turkey dinner, and then for dessert....
my sweet friend Debbie (from Florida) and I shared this fabulous chocolate dessert! YUM!
Later that evening, when I got to my room, look what was on my pillow!
Another BRAND NEW stamp set, the new in-color pens, and ribbons, all packaged in our new gusseted envelopes from SU!
It was a fabulous and wonderful first day! I'll be back tomorrow with details from the second day at Founder's Circle!
